In reading Parker Palmer’s book, “Let Your Life Speak”, I found resonance with both vocation as quest, and on the value of when one ‘way closes’.

Backward, Inward, Upward, Forward: The Four Directions to Look with God in seasons of transition7/7/2021 David Livingstone, a mission worker to the interior peoples of Zambia in the 1800s, exclaimed, “I will prepared to go anywhere, provided it be forward”. I'm in a major transition, coaching a church in their transition, and put together some thoughts out of what is helping me process by listening to God about my life.
